Justify, Second Single off Black Roses

It was confirmed by The Rasmus’ Finnish website what most of us has known for months: that TR’s secong single off BR will be Justify. Here’s the report posted at their site:

The Rasmus are right now in Mexico doing some promotion and live shows (check out the tour section for more details). They’ll go to Greece and Germany in the upcoming days, also.
At the end of October they will be shooting a video for the next single from “Black Roses” that will be “Justify”; the single will be released in Finland in December, and at the moment there isn’t any information about the release of the single in other countries.

We can expect a January release, I would guess, for most of the other countries? I hope so. In the meantime, the song is already playing on their MySpace profile. So, the video is probably being shot as of right now. What do you expect from it??

The Rasmus’ Visit to Mexico

As you all know, The Rasmus visited Mexico City a couple days back and the awesome people over at the fansite The Rasmus Mexico have documented this event for all of us fans outside of Mexico. I’ll try to post some general info on it, if you want to see everything (great summary and collection of articles and etc), go visit their TR Mexico 2008 page!

The site CIONOTICIAS posted these (and many more!) pictures and video of the Press Conference. Go read it there.
The band was also interviewed by many Mexican radio stations and newspapers/magazines. Here are some links of interviews: Los 40 Principales (radio), El Universal (newspaper). They are also set to air in MTVLA’s los 10+.
They did a couple of showcase shows, and the Exa Concert. The shows were all packed, and very cheered I could find videos of the Exa Concert shows only, which was aired on Mexican music channel Telehit.
On the Mexican site, also read some of the fan-stories of autograph signings and meeting the band.

German Promotion Invitation

The site Cue-Promotion has come up with a ver intresting mission in Germany to promote Black Roses, and the upcoming shows of the band in that country:

We want to invite you to a promotion for The Rasmus - “Black Roses” album! Cue Promotion will organise “Black Roses” promotion for each of the Hard Rock Cafe shows.

When:

4. November 2008 in Berlin City
5. November 2008 in Cologne City

Who:
Cue Promotion is organising the promotion without the collaboration of The Rasmus, Universal Music and Playground Music so far. We have leaders to guide you for each day.

How:
You will meet up in groups in Munich, Berlin and Cologne to hand out flyers and promote BLACK ROSES in the city during the afternoon. Cue will create flyers and of course you may design your own flyers and print them out (we prefer a copy shop). Cue will also bring some flyers for cologne.

The Rasmus Taxi?

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while, I always forget anyways, this was posted a couple days ago at The Rasmus’ international forum by the admins. Apparently, Playground Music, the Rasmus’ record label thought it was well, a cool way to promote the album in Finland. I would NOT mind getting into that taxi, haha, what about you?

Hello browsing some of TR’s mexican fansites, I’ve come across some very intresting imformation concerning their upcoming Mexican Visit.
